My name is Tayna Fogle. I am a mother of two young men, grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother of four, a SEC champion UK basketball player, and former addict who spent nearly a decade in prison.

In order to stand up for the issues that are important to my family, I had to bravely defend against harsh drug sentencing policies and learn to navigate bureaucratic mazes to regain my right to vote.

I am a motivational speaker, community advocate, substance misuse and abuse sponsor, and a re-entry specialist for ex-offenders. I educate stakeholders, skeptics, community members, and lawmakers on the benefits of restoring people who have lost hope.
